In a world full of numbers, the team at Hensgen Partners focus on people and make it their mission to simplify the complex.
Providing accounting, business and taxation services for private and corporate clients, Hensgen Partners are experts in starting, growing and running businesses, managing projects and resolving complex problems.
Hensgen Partners’ business development manager Michelle Ban says her role is to make sure people in the community are aware of the firm and what it can do for them.
She says Hensgen Partners provides a fresh approach to accounting and business advisory roles.
And in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Hensgen Partners bucks the trend with a predominantly female team.
Michelle says the team works with small to medium enterprise, as well as handling people’s individual tax returns.
“For corporate clients, it could be setting them up on a cloud system, like Xero or QuickBooks, or helping them with bookkeeping, budgeting and cash flow,” she says.
“We can help to convert people from manual to electronic systems, while Karen (Hensgen) provides contract CFO services and is experienced in financial report writing.”
She says in the often-intimidating world of business and finance, the team at Hensgen Partners aim to make people as comfortable as possible. People can book appointments online, call the office, or drop in to chat at any time.
Founded by Karen Hensgen more than a decade ago, Hensgen Partners was an opportunity to bridge the gap between city and country business services.
“You don’t need to go away to the major cities to get this kind of service,” Michelle says.
“She wanted to stand out from the rest by providing a fresh approach with a predominantly female team.
“We utilise the latest technology to improve the client experience. We focus primarily on business and corporate needs, which is where we saw a gap in the market.”
Michelle says clients have come to love the fresh approach Hensgen Partners take to their work in their modern office in Langtree Avenue.
“It’s a great place to work, which helps up attract top talent,” she says.
Staff provide attentive, proactive professional service, with unique skills and knowledge.
