Ryan was born in Mildura and has grown up heavily-involved with the family business, Hammerton’s Jewellers. After obtaining two bachelor degrees through La Trobe University (Business/Computing), he returned to Mildura in 2003 and subsequently purchased the business with his wife, Clare, from his father Ian in 2009, becoming the fifth generation of Hammerton to run the business. Ryan has been a long term director, deputy and now chair of Mildura City Traders and is passionate about ensuring the future of the City Heart.
Eric has owned a busy pharmacy in the precinct for the past 14 years. Currently he employs more then 100 staff across two Mildura City Heart stores. Besides his duties as a pharmacist, he also is responsible for all promotions, marketing and other publicity events.
He is a strong believer in promoting local and loves to see Mildura continually grow.
Cassandra was born in Mildura and for the last 7 years has owned and operated Banjo’s Bakery Cafe in the Langtree Mall with her husband David.
Together with their small children they are members of many sporting and school communities, enjoying the lifestyle that living in an active diverse regional city allows them.
Cassandra sees the massive potential of the CBD area and is passionate about showcasing the City Heart as a vibrant inclusive meeting place for the Mildura community.
David comes to the board with a variety of business and regional knowledge, operating a number of ‘yes’ Optus franchises with stores located in Mildura, Berri and Swan Hill.
He previously worked for 10 years in the NAB Agribusiness division managing key programs, data tracking and evaluation programs.
Racheal has over 19 years’ experience with executive management across a variety of industry sectors. She has had both public and private sector experience within the Insurance, Financial and Medical industry and for the past nine, within the Vocational Education and Training sector. Whist participating in community activities and representing various Boards, Racheal has put into practice her leadership and management skills. She extends these attributes to various awards and nominations for community achievement and involvement. Racheal is also an accomplished public speaker. Currently Racheal managers multiple cohorts of students studying Cert IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma Leadership and Management qualifications at Sunraysia Institute of TAFE.
Adam Hobbs has worked in the media and advertising business in the Mildura for over 20 years. He is currently a partner and creative director at One Idea. He brings his expertise in advertising and marketing of Mildura City Heart to the board.
Sportspower Mildura has been established for over 25 years in the Mildura City Heart.
Adam is a huge supporter of local sport, sponsoring many different organisations and clubs from a huge range of sports. He believes being part of a groups and organisations outside of the business enriches the community and provides him with the knowledge and ideas that he can then offer as a board member.
