Olive has been writing, performing and recording country music for many years. She was inducted into Rocky Page's Avenue of Honour in 1989 and the Hands of Fame, Tamworth, in 1990. Olive won "Battle of the Indies" as Most Popular Independent Recording Artist in 1991; was presented with the The Morton Memorial Award in 1994 and was named 1998 Victorian Professional Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year. Olive works solo and with her own band, Magnum and with her daughter Andrea.In 2009 the City Heart business community voted Olive the best Performer and Mc of the last 25 years
